What Visitors Say

Really good bridge. Looks really strong and sturdy, and you’d hope so, as the trains use it! Particularly excels at going from one side of the Forth to the other. All while being easy on the eye! Really good bridge, a well earned 5 stars from me!

Such a wonderful sight! The sheer scale of this bridge is what always captivates me. Such an impressive monument to man’s engineering achievements. See it at night to appreciate the lights and a totally different atmosphere than during the day.

Always an awesome sight. Really enjoyed a boat trip on Maid of the Forth and seeing the bridges from a different perspective.

Iconic view of the Forth Rail bridge on a summers evening photo taken from the adjacent Forth Road Bridge (now used only by public transport, pedestrians & cyclists). Wide footpath for pedestrians and cyclists. Took us around 30mins to walk to the centre of the bridge from South Queensferry. Worth a visit.

This is one of my favourite bridges. The views and the bridge itself were pretty amazing breathtaking. Every summer we went there and sat down with our fish suppers and ice-creams watching the beautiful view of the bridge. Definitely going back next summer again.

Masterpiece of engineering, firts major steel strucutre made a history in railway and engineering. Forth brigde is a part of UNESCO since 2015. Have a walk from on to the other side over the road bridge. You can also take a boat trip and have a ride to see brige from below and from far away (unfortunately I found out while discovering the village and did not have a change to took the boar). Should you wanna walk from one side to another one it would take about two hours.

Underrated experience. Sitting at the waterside in North Queensferry underneath the Forth Bridge looking over the water is lovely.
